Rookie -
beginner
(90 minutes. Improve your turns and discover
green runs)
OK – you’ve skied or snowboarded before, maybe a long time
ago, but it’s not your first time on the dance floor. Let Mt. Rose
build your confidence by developing your skills to
vary the size and shape of your turns, improving
speed control and maneuverability on the easiest
green slopes. You will continue to develop your turning skills and confidence,
and learn more about adapting to changes in terrain and snow on the green
runs. Package includes lift access (Ponderosa, Galena, & Flying
Jenny), rental equipment, and instruction. Lift Ticket and Rental Equipment
may be used all day.

bit steeper blue runs and the movements necessary
to initiate parallel turns. Package includes lift access (Lakeview,
